LOL. Ever since, I've bought my condiments (ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, etc.) and pork-n-beans during June/July when on sale really cheap. I also stock up BIG TIME when all the canned goods go on sale around thanksgiving. I literally get enough for the whole year (sometimes more) of green beans, corn, cream of mush/chicken soup, potato flakes, peas, broth, etc. at this time and I'm good for a while. In fact, I bought so many cheap cans of corn (name brand too!) on sale last year after Thanksgiving that I have enough for this year too. Also, last year around Christmas time (can't remember exactly when), they ran coupons for Nestle hot chocolate and enabled me to get several boxes for just 25 cents! Learning to shop in-season and to shop the seasonal deals and just stock up is such a great thing to learn and your pocket book will thank you!</p>
